The boffins in our Categorisation and Analytics team have been hard at work! We now have over 40 categories that can be activated on your service at no additional cost! Get in touch with us if any of the following categories would make your life a little easier.

Decision Metrics

Back in May this year we released Decision Metrics which is now an integral part of decisioning for a number of our customers.

These specific data points sit at the top of the statement meaning you can get the information you need to make faster, smarter decisions without having to scroll through customers’ bank statements. Decision metrics are available in both the PDF/HTML statements and in the JSON/XML data.

So, what are they? In a nutshell, once the categorisation process is complete we run analysis over the top. Here are some examples of what we can do with them.

Derive frequency and count of events

• Income Frequency/Count i.e. 5 Weekly
• ATM Withdrawals on Income Payment Days
• Number of SACC Dishonours

Perform calculations

• Gambling Percentage of Income
• Percentage of Income Spent on Day of Deposit

Combine multiple Categories into one Decision Metric

• Living Expenses i.e. a combination of Rent Utilities Groceries etc.

Text values

• Employer (i.e. the transaction description of the wage provider)

Date related metrics

• Expected Pay Date for Largest Income Source
• Days Since Last Centrelink Payment
